Landscape worked very well, and meticulous details in the rocks, we find labor. I just think that in perspective, the bottom should be slightly darker than the front. The foreground is darker, which gives an impression that the light is coming through the bottom of the image but it is dark with clouds. If the intention was to make a fog, rising or sand, I think you should spread a little more, so not even close to the rocks of the background. I hope I have helped in something that has been helpful and what I said. Your technique is very good!
The landscape gives me a feel of despair, as well stillness and death, which is fantastic by the colours you have used to portray it, and how the fog or smoke(?) is washing over the land, to give it more of a mystical feel. Though, the way you have it shaded, it seems that the light is skimming over the land from behind the mountains which is good, but, the sky seems to be darker than any other area on the picture. If it were a little lighter, I think it would seem to blend a little easier into the picture, though, it is not that big of a deal. It sort of gives an air that there is a powerful storm brewing, but hasn't quite covered the entire sky. Other than that, I find it fantastic.
